“Most Film Awards Are Not Credible” — Ibrahim Chatta
Popular actor, Ibrahim Chatta, recently bared his mind on the credibility of film awards in Nigeria.
The aggrieved actor who was recently nominated for the City People Best Actor of the year category, has rejected the nomination and appealed to his fans and followers not to vote for him because he is not interested in the award.
He took his Facebook page to discourage his fans from voting for him.
He wrote, “I’d like to appeal to my friends, fans and folks not to vote for me on the City People’s best actor of the year nomination.
“Please do not vote for me, as I am not interested and I believe most of the film awards in Nigeria are not credible enough.
“So I won’t allow anybody or organisation rubbish my God-given talents.”
